Presentation
My goal is to provide accurate, honest, neat and unbiased reviews. As I eat, in average, some 90 square feet of pizza per year, I dedicate special attention to pizzerie, but I also do restaurants.
I grade holistically, mainly using the following criteria: taste, freshness, texture, quality, digestion and price. As some of these criteria may change according to personality, mood, experiences, etc. my rewiews represent my own opinions - at the time I write them only.

Delicious discovery 




Back in the 1990's, once, I went to this Pizzeria and all what I remember is that I had to wait forever before being served. Since then, I had never came back again. Now, some fifteen years later, I have completely changed my mind, and I have a positive opinion of this pizzeria.... (read more)
Truly informal 




Jocasta is a sort of Pub turned into a pizzeria. Hence, I declined the typical-pub menu options (from hamburgers onwards) in favor of their pizza, as suggested by both my nickname and by the example set by the other customers.... (read more)
Pizza at the Shissorhands', but without a conscience 




Popular, quick, fun, unpretentious, cheap and definitely noisy pizza spot on the Aurelia. They offer two kinds of pizza only: Margherita (aka cheese) or Marinara (aka no cheese). The pizza is good in taste, satsfactory in quantity, crunchy in the dough, but with no significant external crust, for it is cooked in the pan.... (read more)

I liked: -the waiter's style -the un-pretentiousness of the whole experience -the moderate pricing -the sodas (from Italy) and their selection -the popularity of the place -the fact that the pizza dough was NOT ready-made -the pizza american style I liked less: -the waiting time (maybe there was an error) -the fact that the pizza dough looked tasty but also fatty and somehow unconvincing -the pizza american style... Remains a great option 




Tried again, with consistent results. (see my other review for more pics and detailed info) Cheap, unpretentious and quick. Some 14$ for two lunches. It is un-necessary to over-eat, here: the food fills your stomach quickly. Homemade food, with style and grease. (read more)
