Great Food and Location

Big, popular, and extremely well-located restaurant specializing in seafood. Has huge windows directly on the marina--assuring great views and a pleasant dining experience. I adored the seating and the view. For lunch, we opted for a series of lunch seafood specials, and all choices were fully satisfying. The (white) clam chowder was delicious (probably because of the huge amount of cream thereby contained), and my... (read more)

Great restaurant, that I liked very much. Comfortable seating, quiet ambient, great service and truly remarkable food! A very pleasant experience, and definitely the best Indian restaurant I have been in a long time.... (read more)
That Steak Was Juicy

Traditional, and very crowded, steak house in the heart of downtown Seattle. As good meat is quite expensive, we opted for a weekday lunch. The setting is 100% appropriate for a steak house (wooden furniture, green naps and curtains, decoration, etc.), and perhaps a little too gentrified and noisy. The waiters have been prompt and polite, and understandable when I asked to keep the menu for bionic tomato purposes. Th... (read more)

All-you-can-eat vegan lunch buffet. Cost: $7.99 per person. Nice location with big windows on a key intersection in the University area. Mediocre vegan food, that I found a little greasy and definitely too long to digest. They offer a wide selection of trays to pick from, whose offers in my case ranged from tomato salad, curry cauliflowers, spaghetti, cooked spinach and fried tofu to falafels and pudding. The select... (read more)
Punk Rock Confidential

With its 5000 eggs cooked monthly, Beth's must be a veritable institution in the area -- with many thanks from the surrounding cholesterol-treating facilities, given the quantity of fatties each breakfast contains!... (read more)
Tasty and Cozy

Small, crowded and definitely valuable Vietnamese in Seattle's International district. Polite waiters and prompt service. Good food and excellent (free) warm tea. Nice ceramic glasses and dishes, quite cozy furniture and décor. My 'bun' was really good, and very well presented. All ingredients were fresh and tasted good, and the price was (moderately) unexpensive.... (read more)
Better Was the Booze, than the Seafood

Popular, famous, and well-known brewery within the tourist trap commonly referred to as 'Pike Market'. Suggestive ambient and brilliant decoration; clean floors and tables. Polite waiters. Their home-brewed selection of beers is simply impressive. I really enjoyed both drinking and staring at the brewing containers, as well as watching all those self-referential paraphernalia they produce. Of course, I dedicated ple... (read more)
I expected more

Popular spot for a quick lunch, conveniently located on the waterfront and not far from the (over-popular, considering it is old fashioned and small) aquarium. This 'Anthony' eating option is definitely less expensive than the formal Anthony restaurant adjacent to it.... (read more)
