When it comes to feeding a party of 3 dozens of hungry (European) people, any (little) restaurant might encounter a variety if issues that put its own organizational skills, its waiters' professional expertise, and the chef's capabilities at stake. Well, in yesterday night's case (we were 50 - but we had made our reservation in advance), I cannot say that Pasadena's Pain Quotidian performed that well. It took them more than one hour (I mean, more than one hour!) to prepare a 'main course' featuring a few slices of cold bread with cold chicken and cold vegetables (sorry, no oil) on the top.
